Ltd., covering the half-year now elosing, states that operalions had 1 ?en conducted on the basis of newsprint consumption amounting to only 40 per cent, of the “base year." Jt adds that a census of newsprint stocks throughout Australia shows that stocks hold, plus production :>l Tasmanian mills, are sufficient lo lest at least two years at Ihe present rate, of consumption.
