CHURCH ANNIVERSARY
ST. DAVID’S, I I’PEK ARAMOHO Special services were held when the 23rd anniversary of the opening of St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Upper Aramcho. was celebrated recently. Morning and evening services \v»re conducted bv the Rev. A. T. Thompson. M.A. 8.D., and the afternoon service was conducted by the mini'ter of the parish, the Rev. J. W. Berry. Addresses were given, and the dedication hymn. “Bless This House." written and donated by lhe Rev. Thompson, was a feature of lhe singing. The children’s augmented choir under the conductorship of Mr. R. H. Tizard with Mrs. Tizard at the piano and Mr. M. Watson playing the violin, sang gppropriate hymns. The anniversary was also the occasion of the final paying-off of all debt on the church propertv and manse. A social was subsequently held in the ' Hylton Hall. Aramoho. taking the form of a musical evening, followed by a mock banquet. Several speakers spoke reminiscently of the church's efforts over the past 23 years, and Mr. Berry said he was very pleased to see such a good gathering of so many friends.
