Mr. Rose was a . champion rille shot and. a member of j tho Royal Victorian Rifles. He was a i veteran member of the Order of 1 Foresters. A daughter survives him.| MR. B. WTJLLS. Born at One'/mnga 84 years ago, Mr. John William Cook, whose death has occurred, went to Auckland to live in retirement 30 years ago, after being in business in Napier and Gisborne, Mrs. Cook predeceased him' about six months ago.
