CONTEMPLATED ALIERATIONS IN REGULATIONS (P.A.I Wellington, March 11. The Mayors of the chief centres me at Wellington with officers of the National Service Department to discuss proposals for amendments of the extensions of Emergency Reserve Corns Regulations which govern practically all organisations set up for civilian defence of life and property. It is understood that the contpmnlated alterations are in draft form and are likely to be brought down at any time. The appointment of regional commissioners as deputies of th n Minister, as a liaison between the Army authorities and the E.P S.. with nowers over E.P.S. groups is likely to be one feature of the proposals.
