STEEL HELMETS
ISSUE I OR E.P.S. WORKERS Emergency Precautions Scheme controllers in Wanganui are being askerl to indicate the requirements o: their respective sections for steel helmets. When this information has been obtained an application will be made for an issue in Wanganui. It. is ('. timated that about 4000 helmet.' wil l be required tor the E.P.S. and ;■ s’X'iatcd units. 'The helmets arc expected to be similar to the service issue. In Auckland and Wellington steel helmets are being manufactured and application has been made by the Wellington E.P.S. for an issue.
