MANGAWEKA SALE The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report a yarding of a little over 3000 sheep at the Mangaweka sale on Thursday to a fair attendance of buyers. The entry comprised practically all lambs with a considerable number of tail-end lots; also a few pens of breeding ewes. The lamb market was inclined to be a little easier than some of < u? previous sales, probably because there were very few attractive lines yarded. There was quite a fair enquiry for breeding ewes, but tnere was nothing very attractive in this section either. However, the auctioneers disposed of the whole ydrding as follows:—Fivevear ewes, 12s 9d to 14s 9d; 2-tooth ewes, 22s to 27s 4d; low-mouthed ewes 9s to Ils; 2-tooth wethers, to 19s 6d; good medium wether lambs, 12s to 13s: fair to medium. 8s to 9s 6d; small, 6s to 7s Id; good medium ewe lambs, 15s 9d to 17s 9d; fair to medium. 12s 6d to 14s 6d; small b.f. lambs. 10s to 13s; small tail-end lots, Bs.
