MACARTHUR’S NAME RAISED AGAIN London, March 4. The New York correspondent of the Daily Express says he believes that General Douglas MacArthur is likely to become General Wavell’s successor in the Pacific. It is unofficially stated that the way is clear for President Roosevelt to recall General MacArthur from the Philippines to direett operations by Australia and New Zealand and plan an Allied offensive on the Pacific
