GERMANY’S ADVICE
PROPAGANDA FOR INDIA London, March 4. : Germany has begun a radio campaign of unprecedented vehemence to incite India to overthrow British rule, says The Times correspondent in Switzerland. An unknown radio station began the campaign by broadcasting. in English, and in German, a manifesto of freedom to th n Indian , peonies. Numerous German-controlled stations in Europe broadcast a statement by the outlawed ex-President of the All India Congress (Sir J. C. Bose), who said India’s day of deliverance had arrived with the fall of Singapore. He branded British Imoerialism as India’s eternal enemy wherewith there could be no peace and no compromise. A Calcutta message states that the Hindu Mahasaffas (a politico-religious organisation) unanimously passed a resolution asking the Government to relax the Arms Act and thus permit Indians to pursue guerrilla warfare pn the event of invasion.
