“Skylark,” the Paramount comedy ; which opens to-day at the Majestic Theatre, presents Claudette COlb’eit in one of the most fascinating roles 'of her career—that of a . modern young wife who divorces her husband, i Ray Milland, on the heels of their wooden wedding anniversary- - played for comedy, of course. Five years of marriage to a man who’se more in love with his business career than with his vivacious, romance-starved wife is more than she can stand. When Brian Aherne, wealthy bachI elor lawyer, promises to help her secure a divorce and then take her off on a skylark to make up for all the fun she's missed, Claudette okays the idea and the dizzy triangular love affair speeds on at a laugh-a-minute clip. Naturally, Ray wakes up after the divorce and realises what a fooi he’s been.
