TAIHAPE PRESENTATION
RECEPTION TO CORPORAL MOORE. Taihape intends to hold a public reception and presentation to Corporal Ron Moore, D.C.M., on Thursday, March 12, at 2.30 p.m. in the Town Hall, Taihape. TAIHAPE GOLF CU B. The annual meeting of the Taihape Golf Club was held on Monday evening, Mr. W. T. May presiding. Because of petrol restrictions and there being no bus service available, it was decided to reduce the membership fee to £1 15s for men and 10s for ladies. There will be no attempt to keep the greens in order, but. the course will be grazed by sheep. There will not be any competitions arranged this season.
