WANGANUI SALE LIGHT YARDING IN ALL SECTIONS FINAL FIXIIKE FOR YEAR. “The closing sale of the year brought forward a light yarding in all sections with most interest taken in a moderate entry of store cattle which met a ready sale," stales the report of Freeman R. Jackson and Co., on the Wanganui stock sale held yesterday. Fat cattle and fat sheep were on a par with last week, prices being fully firm. There was a keen sale for pigs, and vealers also sold readily as did a light entry of dairy cattle. Quotations: — Sheep. Fat ewes, Ils, 11s 3d; maidens. to 20s; fat two-tooth wethers, 21s 6d. 24s 2d; fat lambs, 20s. 22s 6d: two-tooth ewes, 245. Cattle. Prime P.A. cows, £B. £9 10s; fat heifers, £8 ss. £9 17s 6d; fat Jersey cows, £4. £6; P.A. store cows, £6 7s; P.A. cows and calves. £5 10s, £6 17s 6d; two-jear P.A. heifers. £5 17s 6d; two-year crossbred heifers, to £4; 2year steers, £5 12s 6d; yearling heifers, £3 12s 6d to £3 15s; dairy cows in milk, £5 15s, £6 15s; springing, £4 ss, £7 15s.
