In view of the gravity of the war situation and the imminent threat to I this country, the Pahiatua branch of the R.S.A. urges the Government to take immediate steps to intern all enemy aliens or persons uttering subversive or disloyal statements or refusing to work whole-heartedly in defence of the country. It also urges the Government to appoint local committees in each centre to advise manpower committees and armed forces appeal boards on the merits of each application and make service in the Home Guard or the E P.S. compulsory for nil males between the ages of 16 ‘and 60.
