DECISION OF EIRE Jx)ndon, Dec. 14. Mr. de Valera, speaking at Cork on Sunday, said that although the extension of the war had brought a source of sorrow and anxiety to every part of Eire, nevertheless the policy of the State remained unchanged. In an appeal for recruits, he said that. 250.000 men for the militarv ser- , vice alone were needed.
