Mrs. E. Nicholls, Wanganui, has been visiting Mrs. J. McLean, Auroa. Miss M. Manson, Raetihi, is visiting Wanganuf. Mrs. E. Power, Auckland, was a visitor to Wanganui. • . • • Miss Patricia Gardner, who has been visiting Wanganui as the guest of Mrs. H. L. Widdowson, Heads Road, returned on Tuesday to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. G. Healy, Keith Street, Wanganui, have returned home from a visit to Auckland. Their daughter, Miss Vivienne Healy, has remained in Auckland, where she intends to take a refresher course in dancing. Miss Dora Sutherland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Sutherland, a pupil of the Matarawa School, No. 2 Line, has obtained a scholarship to the lona College. The scholarship gives free board and tuition for three years. Children from a wide district were able to compete.
