RACES FOR DALZELL FOL RS TROPHY E\ ENTS DEI IDE!) O\ EK WEEK-END Tile second series of races under the repercharge system for the Aramoho Boating Club's Dalzell Fours tr'ophy took place on Saturday- afternoon, when, in the first heat L. Clark's crew won from Johnson's and Norrie's by a length. The race was very evenlycontested, Clark gaining the lead after passing the school. The second heat, rowed between J. Girven's and A. Springer's crews was won by the latter. There was little difference until half-way, when Springer forged ahead and won comfortably. The final event for the trophy will lie contested by crews stroked by A. Springer and L. Clark, and will take place at 5.45 p.m. to-day. Indications are that this race will be very keenly contested. Bridges. B. Coughlin: E. Johnson, A. McNicol, F. Kurth, A. Gifford: H. Norrie. F. Wilkinson. N. Breed, D. Hurley; A. Springer P. Stowers, V. 8011. L. Porter. The race will take place in approximately three weeks’ time.
