FALL OF GONDAR
NO DETAILS YET ((Recd. 6.40 p.m.) Rugby. Nov. 29. A Nairobi communique stales that no details of the prisoners and material taken at Gondar have yet been received. There are still a few Italian outposts which have not surrendered. Leaflets directing the garrisons to surrender have been dropped on these outposts by our aircraft.- 8.0.W. The War Office states that the commander of the Imperial and Allied forces which finally liquidated the Italians in East Africa by the capture of Gondar is Major-Genera’ C. C. Fowkes. 8.0.W.
