GIFT TO BRITISH BOY SCOUTS

N.Z. THANKED FOR £2009 HOW THE MONEY HAS BEEN USED Imperial headquarter* <»f the Boy Scouts’ Association. London, have written to the New Zealand National Patriotic Fund Board expressing thanks and appreciation for a gift of £2OOO from the people of New Zealand. This sum was allocated to the association from £lOO.OOO sent lo Britain this year for the relief of distress. The letter explains that the money has been placed to the credit of the Association* War District Scout* Fund, established at the outbreak of the war to help Scouts, at home and abroad, who suffer from enemy action.
