CONCERT AT OPERA HOUSE
Y.M.C.A.-Y.W.C.A. DISPLAY ; Many novel and unusual features will be introduced in the presentation of the Y.M.C.A.-Y.W.C.A. annual display and variety entertainment, be- j ing presented in the Opera House next Wednesday evening. From start to finish the display will be full of | colour and gaiety, thrills, humour and spectacular items. With more than 200 highly trained gymnasts. | assisted by the Wanganui Repertory Society, the Wanganui Accordion' Band. Intermediate School Choir of 80 voices, and other leading artists,' the display promised to be an outstanding success. This display will take the form of a military review, and outstanding items will include human pyramids. balancing and tumbling, exhibition of posing studies, and smart sets of the latest drill formations together with choral renditions of popular songs. Plans are filling rapidly at the D.I.C. and patrons are advised to reserve at the earliest possible opportunity for the show Wanganui has been waiting for! I
