D.F.M. FOR NEW ZEALANDER
TOOK FART IN 22 OPERATIONS. London. Aug. 8. Royal Air Force awards include the Distinguished Flying Medal to a Nev.Zealander, Sergeant Reginald Joseph Cowan Grant, of No. 145 Squadron. The citation states that Sergeant Grant has taken pai't in 22 operations over enemy territory, in whicn he destroyed two enemy planes and damaged several others.—U.P.A.
