STORTFORD LODGE Hastings, Aug. 6. A good, advance was made on late high rates for hoggets at Stortford Lodge to-day, when buying was the dearest of I he season. The yarding included the lirst of the season’s ewes with lambs, which ranged from IGs Gd Io 13s 9d, all counted. On a basis of quaility breeding ewes made dearer buying. Most of the in-lamb ewes wore aged. Sheep were below .standard.
