HUNTERVILLE NOTES
GALA DAY Arrangements arc well in hand for what promises to be a real gala day to-morrow for the people of Hunterville and district. The object of the day is to raise a further £2OO towards the "Heart to Heart” Appeal. The sports club is running a programme of horse events on the Domain while the football club is putting on chain stepping, sheep weight-guessing, etc. There will also be sweet, produce, meat, and jumble stalls, and sideshows galore. Afternoon tea will be procurable in the Town Hall supper room. Arrangements have also been made for the Hunterville Pipe Band to parade in the streets during the day.
