STORTFORD LODGE Hastings, July 30. Female pens again provided butchers with a good selection of quality, which included a fine draft of A.A. cows and heifers on account Mokopeka station. New high levels in values for store cattle were reached when weaner steers realised to £5 10s, and empty forward cows to £6 4s. A yarding of

more than 800 head included several annual dafts of well-known stations, which were in good order and well grown. The selling was followed by a large attendance, including several outside buyers. Though a few lines on account of absentee vendors were passed in, they were traded privately afterward.
