Mr and Mrs. J. A. Wither, Cheltenham, were visitors to Patea last week. Mr. and Mrs. A. Christensen, Auckland, were among the visitors to Patea for the Druids’ jubilee. WAVERLEY Mrs. Smith is a Wellington visitor to Waverley, as the guest of Mrs. W. Heginbotham. Miss Till, Featherston, is spending a holiday at Waverley, as the guest of Mrs. C. Oarsman. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Dallison have returned to Waverley from a holiday at the Bay of Islands, Messrs. N. Bromiley, D. Walker, ana C. J. Dickie have returned from a holiday at Taupo. Miss Marjorie Symes, who has been the guest of Mrs. Lance Walker, left on Monday for a holiday at Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. F. Ell and Miss Mary Ell were recent visitors to Wanganui for the Hughes—Howard wedding. Mrs. F. Parkes, Wanganui, is visiting Waverley as the guest of Mrs. J. H. Mathieson, Chester Street. Waverley visitors to Makirikiri sports on Saturday were: Mr. and Mrs. T. Tallott, Misses Amy Graham and Joy Tallott, Messrs. J. Agnew ana A. Lupton. Miss Graham was successful in winning the ladies’ jump on Rajah, and Messrs. J. Agnew, A. Lupton and T. Tallott were also successful in several horse events.
