DAILY INTERCESSION
Gracious is the Lord and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. I was brought low and He helped me. Return unto Thy rest, O my soul. (Read Psalm Ixxxix, verses 8-19.)
We remember before Thee. O God, the leaders of our nation, Those who govern in the affairs of Church and State, those who control industry and commerce, .those who educate men’s minds through literature and the press, those who through positions of influence or wealth control the destinies of others. Grant that they may at all times seek the guidance of Thy Holy Spirit; direct and control their councils that, fearless and unfaltlng, they may stand for all that is good and true and further Thy kingdom in the realms of this world. Amen.
