CANADA’S GROWING AIR POWER
MAY SURPASS AMERICA TRAINING SCHOOLS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE Received Feb. 7. 7.45 p.m. OTTAWA, Feb. 6. The Canadian Air Minister, Mr. C. G. Power, predicted that. Canada might surpass the United States in air power by the end of 1912. He based his prediction on the speed with which Canada is training fighting and ground personnel, and commissioning new planes. Mr. Power added that there are at least 200,000 potential airmen in Canada and it is expected that 83 new air schools will be operating by July, two months ahead of schedule.
