DAILY INTERCESSION
Ye have not passed this way heretofor. Sanctify yourselves. Come hither, and hear the words of the Lord vour God.—Joshua iii: 4 5, 9. Almighty and everlasting God, by whose mercy jve come to the beginning of another year: regard us with Thy favour and further us with Thy continual help, as we dedicate to Thee the days that, in Thy mercy, lie before us. Help us throughout this year to give our nation zealous and faithful service, and grant that ere the year close peace may be restored to earth.
