LINER WESTERN PRINCE ATTACKED

The Mackay radio has reported that the British liner Western Prince has been attacked by a submarine 400 miles north-west of the northern tip of Ireland. It is reported that the Canadian Munitions Minister, Mr. C. D. Howe, is a passenger on the Western Prinee, from New York.

A Washington message says that the Canadian Legation stated later that Mr. Howe, and his party have been rescued from the Western Prince.
