WIN FOR JOHN KATAN JAPANESE LEG-LOCK WINS ONLY FALL [ Per Pr-.-Ea Association I DUNEDIN, Aug. 1. | Securing the only fall of the match j in the seventh round with his specialty 1 hold, a Japanese leg-lock, the Empire j champion, John Katan, scored a win' over Joe Corbett to-night. A packed I house witnessed the bout, which was marked by several exchange of hard wrestling, relieved at times by interludes of somewhat forced showmanship. Katan had the better of the contest throughout and, always had the measure of his opponent.
