GERMAN ADMISSION
DESTRUCTIVE POWERS OF BRITISH BOMBS. Received Aug. 1. 7.55 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 1. Herr von Schroder, president of Germany’s A.R.P. Union, interviewed, admitted that the British incendiary bombs had greater penetrating power than was usually presumd. Herr von Schroder said he had seen one explosive bomb splinter the size of a man’s fist, pass through a heavy oak door and two walls of a safe.
