VETERANS’ FOOTBALL MATCH (Own Correspondent. > TAIHAPE, Aug. 1. Given line weather there is every indication that a large crowd will at tend the veterans’ football match to be played on Saturday on the Taihape Domain, A Rugby match is a novelty in Taihape these days and the fact that so many veterans who were “stars" m their day, have consented to turn out, should prove a great draw. “Mose ’ Beiliss and company will no doubt provide the spectators with plenty of I amusement, and at the same time assist a worthy cause.
