NOTES FROM BULLS
(Own Correspondent.) BULLS, July 31. As a result of the recent stock drive the sum of £3ll 4s 4d was raised locally for the Red Cross Fund. To-night's Bulls Football Club dance promises to attract a very large attendance. The ladies’ committee has prepared’ a first-class supper, and with good music, novelty dances and an excellent dance floor, patrons should have an enjoyable evening. For the convenience of Marton dancers a free bus will run from that town. Rain would be welcomed in this district, growth being retarded by many frosts. In boll) town and countiy tanks are either very low or absolutely empty, necessitating the disconnection of hot water system for the time being. Lambs are appearing, and in some quarters dairy farmers alrsady have a number of cows in again.
