BRITAIN’S THANKS
PRO-ALLY COMMITTEE IN ARGENTINE MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY [ British Official Wireless J RUGBY, July 30. A reply to the telegram expressing the solidarity of the Argentine ProAlly Committee, receipt of which has given great pleasure to British people, has been sent by the British Prime Minister, Mr. Winston Churchill:— “Thr.ik you so much for your kind message. Coming from our friends in the Argentine Republic, our secular ties with which are so highly valued, its tribute to the steadfastness ot our people and the efficiency of the armed forces of the Crown is specially welcome and encouraging. “Backed by* a united Empire, we are resolved to pursue to a victorious conclusion the struggle against Nazidom and all that it implies for the, whole world, and thereby ensure the firm establishment of the principles of decency and Christian civilisation. Tile good wishes and support of our friends across the seas greatly heartens us in the discharge of the task which lies before us.”
