The Washington correspondent oi the New York Timas says that Canada, despite the import restrictions, appears likely to surpass Britain as the United States' bes* customer. Canada imported in February 50,029,000 dollars worth of United States goods - 85 per cent, above February last year and a million dollars above January. Despite the large arms purchases, the major increases are fruits, meats woollen textiles, automobiles and machinery.
