WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION TECHNICAL COLLEGE OLD GIRLS’ MEETING More than twenty members were present at the annual meeting of the Wanganui Technical College Old Girls’ i Basketball Club. Mr. I. E. Newton was unanimously elected patron. As the previous secretary, Miss J. Glasgow, considered the work of secretary for the four teams too heavy, it was decided to elect one secretary for past students’ teams and one for Technical Old Girls. Miss Z. Whale was chosen for past students and Miss J. Glasgow was again elected for Technical Old Girls. After some discussion it was decided that the subscription be the same as previous years. It was decided to again ask Mr. R. Francis to coach the senior teams and Miss Glasgow was asked to coach the junior teams. The first practice is be held on Saturday, April 20, on the school courts and the practices are to be held on Tuesday nights at the Fire Brigade courts, the juniors from 6 to 7 p.m. and the seniors from 7 to 8 p.m. Oflicers are to be elected at a later date, with the exception of the patron and secretaries.
