EVIDENCE AT INQUIRY. Reecived March 20, 1 a.m. SYDNEY, March 19. The Marine Court of Inquiry into the harbour collision between the Union Company freighter and a Blue Star liner is continuing and is unlikely to finish until the end of the week. Selvvyn Capon, master of the Blue Star liner,, in evidence, said that the bright glare of ti e myriad lights of the Luna Park sideshows adjoining the Harbour Bridge were a hindrance to navigation. He first saw the Union freighter alarmingly close to nini beneath the Harbour Br. -’ge. Herbert Morton, n aster of th; tug waiting for the Union freighter, said, the latter's course prior to the collision was normal, but the Blue Star liner’s course was not normal, possibly due to the set of the fioodtide. The inquiry was adjourned.
