On the resignation of M Lesin Hore-»Behsha from the War Ministry the House of Commons yestetdav stress the negative aspect of thspeech by the Primt Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, and welcome the assurance of no change in army democratisation and of no disagreement between Mr. Chamberlain "and Mr. Hore-Beiisha. There is agreement that Mr. Hore-Beiisha may "soon return to an important office. The conclusion reached hv ,he Manchester Guardian, which is I epical of the general attitude towards the incident, is: ’ There for a time the matter ends. Mr. Hore-Beiisha will \et comp bat .-: again. Meanwhile let us get on with the most vigorous possible prosecution of the war.’
