AID FOR CHILDREN SOI GHT. [ British Official Wireless. ] Received aJn. 5, 6.30 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 4. The “Save the Children - ’ Fund has appealed for funds to afford relief to child victims of the Anatolian earthquake and floods. The appeal follows several other manifestations of the deep sympathy which reports of the distress have aroused, including a contribution of £25,000 from the British Government and the offer of the services of a hospital ship. TENTS FROM PALESTINE (Daventry Broadcast). LONDON, Jan. 4. The Turkish Government has accepted an offer from the British military authorities in Palestine to deliver 200 tents for earthquake refugees.
