GENERAL STRIKE
ACTION EXPECTED IN AUSTRALIA ( DAL MINING UNIONS DEFY ARBITRATION COURT SYDNEY, Dec. 20. The leaders ot the coal mining unions decided to defy the Arbitration Court by instructing all members to work only 40 hours a week without overtime. The full effect of the decision is not lielky to be felt until the resumption of work in the coal mines after the holidays, probably a fortnight hence, when a general strike is certain to be precipitated.
