The application for I the Otago to alter the dates for the i junior and intermediate championships this season from January 24. 25 and 27, 1940, to January 17, 18 and . 20. 1940. was granted. A proposal to allot the junior and intermediate 1 championships for 1941 to the Taranaki centre was held over. Services Recognised Miss D. Brown and Mr. K. T. Schcu (Canterbury) and Mr. George Walters (West Coast) were among a number of persons who have given notab o ■ -en i< e to swimming, to whom it was . decided to give authority to wear the • “honorary” association blazer. • A series of motions for alte.'Pilons ' to the rules, arising from the annual | conference of centres, was brought I forward by the secretary.
