WILL OF AUCKLAND BUSINESS MAN TRUST FIND FOR SCOTTISH | TOWN AUCKLAND, Dec. 5. Provision is made for charitable legacies amounting to £ll,lOO under the will of Mr. D. R. Caldwell, whose death occurred in Remuera last Fri- ■ day. Mr. Caldwell was one of Auck- ■ land’s leading business men. Bequests are as follow: Trust fund for benefit of poor and needy of the | town of Ayr (Scotland), 3000; Pres- i byterian Church orphanages in Auck- - land Province, £2500; aged and infirm ministers’ fund of Presbyterian I Church of New Zealand, £1000; Auck-; land Y.M.C.A. and Auckland Y.W.C.A.,. Wilson Home for Crippled Children, Church of England orphanages in Auckland Province, Presbyterian ■ social service, £5OO each; Salvation i Army in New Zealand, £3OO. Other bequests are: Auckland So-1 ciety for Deaf Children, New Zealand | League for Hard of Hearing, Auckland Institute for Backward Children. Discharged Prisoners’ Aid Society. £250 each; Jasper Calder Mission, New Zealand Institute for Blind, Knox Home for Incurables, Flying Angels Mission to Seamen, £2OO each.
