MATERIALS FOR HOUSING
AUSTRALIA COULD SUPPLY NEW ZEALAND SYDNEY, Dec. 6. Tlie secretary of the New South Wales Chamber of Manufacturers, Mr J. W. Hendry, said that Australian manufacturers can supply materials for the New Zealand Government’s housing scheme. Mr. Hendry was commenting on a statement by the New Zealand Minister of Housing, Hon. H. T. Armstrong, that builders in New Zealanc arc having difficulty in obtaining materials. He added: “If the New Zealand Government adopts satisfactory financial arrangements Australian manufacturers will supply her. They cannot do so under r-.xisl ng arrangements.”
