PASSPORT BREACH
COMMUNISTS CHARGED IN UNITED STATES NEW YORK, Dec. 5. Robert Wiener, national treasure: of the United States Communist Party, was charged to-day with falsely procuring a passport. He pleaded not guilty. Bail was allowed in £2500. The prosecutor alleged he is Rus-sion-born, and that he masquerader for 20 years as a United States citizen, although still an alien. The secretary of the party, E Browder, is at present awaiting trial on a similar charge.
