Inter-Club Athletics. An athletics contest between members of the Wanganui Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club and the Wellington Club will be held on Haititi Park next Saturday afternoon. Thirty Wanganui members will be making the trip, leaving at 9 o’clock on Saturday morning and returning late on Sunday afternoon. They will be free on Saturday night, and before leaving for home the following day will be entertained at a picnic at Pahautanui. The Wellington Club will pay a return visit to Wanganui on January 20. , Thirteen Was Lucky. The challenging rink, Wanganui East, wanted six to win on the last head and scored five, the sixth bowl being just a shade out! ’ ■
