“WINNER TAKE ALL”
Hollywood maintains its reputation for prize-fight films in the 20th. Cen-tury-Fox film, “Winner Take All,” which is to screen on Tuesday at the Opera House. With Tony Martin and Gloria Stuart heading the cast, the film is crammed with fast and exciting action, and has a pleasing romantic interest. The associate feature is “Painted Desert.” “THEY SHALL HAVE MUSIC,” With Jascha Heifetz, the world’s most renowned violinist, starred, Samuel Goldwyn’s new major production, “They Shall Have Music,” which will be screened at the Opera House on Friday of next week, unfolds a gripping story of human interest, high-lighted by tense and thrilling action. The principal romantic roles are played by Andrea Leeds and Joel McCrea, while the important supporting roles are portrayed by Walter Brennan, Gene Reynolds and Tommy Keily. No men were permitted at the party given, by Norma Shearer for the cast of “The Women.” Invitations cautioned that all “beaux should be checked 'for the evening.”
Robert Taylor’s next film will be "The Emperor's Stallion.”
