KING TO INSPECT TROOPS IN FRANCE
LANDS FROM DESTROYER LONDON, Dec. 4. 'The King, accompanied by the Duke of Gloucester, landed in France this afternoon from a British destroyer. He intends to make a personal tour of the troops in France during his stay. The French official morning communique states that there was nothing of importance to report. A message from Berlin says that a .German communique reports slight enemy artillery fire on the Western Front.. It claims that German reconnaissance patrols operated successfully east of Wissemhours.
