Friday's closing prices for raw materials, with those ruling for November 24 in parentheses, were as follow : Cotton: Liverpool quotation for good American middling, spot, 7.95 d a lb (75.41 d January delivery, 7.53 d (7.12 d Rubber: Para, a lb, 12d (Hid); plantation smoked, llid (11 9-16 d). Jute: Not quoted. Copra: Not quoted. Linseed oil: £36 10s a ton (£36). Turpentine: 60s 6d a cwt. (60s 6d).
