Mrs. Allan McCann, Maungatautari, Cambridge, has returned home after visiting her mother, Mrs. Hodge, senr., of Halswell Street, Wanganui. Mrs. H. G. Doig, Grey Street, was a week-end visitor to riawera as the guest of Mrs. Colin Gardner. Mrs. W. J. Wilson. Wanganui, is visiting New Plymouth as the guest of Mrs. R. J. Deare. Mrs. Alec Bogle, Wanganui, has returned home after visiting her parents, the Rev. E. Bishop and Mrs. i Bishop, Parnell, Auckland. Miss Peggy Ross, of the nursing staff of the New Plymouth Hospital, is on holiday in Wanganui, and is staying with her mother, Mrs. C. G. Hislop, Mayoress of Wellington, and president of the committee of the women’s section of the Centennial Exhibition. The function is to be held at the exhibition ■ cabaret.
