TRUCE OVER HOLIDAYS
NATIONAL PARTY ACTIVITIES PEOPLE MORE INTERESTED LN BUYING PRESENTS [ Per Press Association.J CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 4. The New Zealand National Party would cease all political activities over the holiday period, said the Leader, Hon. A Hamilton, to-day. It was not desired to have politics before the public at a time when they were more interested in buying presents and enjoying themselves. Political discussions might react on the business community. To-morrow in Wellington, Mr. Hamilton will meet representatives of various industries, and on Wednesday will attend a caucus of the party.
