"FLIRTING WITH FATE" AND "BIG CITY” "Flirting With Fate," new Joe E. Brown starring picture, opens today at the Regent Theatre. Joe E. Brown, veteran stage and screen comedian, plays the role of manager and star attraction of a valudeville troupe touring South America. With him in the big cast is Leo Carrillo, the best-loved bad man of the screen, in a characterisation which offers him every opportunity for a display of the talents which have made him one of the top-ranking character players .n Hollywood. Beverly Roberts has the feminine lead opposite Brown, while Wynne Gibson is given another important featured role. Stettii Duna, who won fame through the short subject, "La Cucaracha,” dances in the picture. Others in the cast include Charles Judels. tSanlcy Fields, Leonid Kinsky and Irene Franklin. "Flirting With Fate” is a story of the hilanus adventures which befall Brown and his troupe when they find themselves stranded in the capital of a South American country.
