James, manager of (he Grand Hotel, was made a presentation by the staff this week on his retirement after eight years’ service. In presenting Mr. James with a leather suitcase as a token of respect and esteem, Mr. E. Vincent referred to the cordial relations which had always existed between the manager and staff. In reply, Mr. James paid tribute io the way the staff had worked with him during his term as manager.
